Prof.Dr. Tao Shen

Kunming University of Science and Technology ,China

Prof. Tao Shen,is a doctoral supervisor in School of Information Engineering and Automation, Kunming University of Science and Technology. He had received his master’s degree and Ph.D. from Illinois Institute of Technology in USA, bachelor degree from University of Electronic Science and Technology of China. He is an executive director and Deputy Secretary-General of Youth Committee of Chinese Materials Institute, a fellow of Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers(IEEE) and China Computer Federation(CCF). He is a peer-reviewer with National Natural Science Foundation of China, a high-caliber talent accredited by provincial government of Yunnan province. He participated in over 10 research projects, including projects supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, Applied Basic Research Programs of Yunnan Province, and Science Foundation of Department of Education, Yunnan Province. He has publishedmore than 40 papers indexed by SCI/EI, 2 monographs, and held numerous patents and copyrights. His main research fields including: Terahertz technologies and their applications, Artificial Intelligence, Data Mining and Smart Power Grids.

Prof.Dr.John Wang

John Wang, Ph.D, works in the Department of Information Management and Business Analytics at Montclair State University, USA. Having received a scholarship award, he came to the USA and completed his PhD in operations research from Temple University. Due to his extraordinary contributions, Prof. Wang has been honored with two special range adjustments in 2006 and 2009 respectively. He has published over 100 refereed papers and more than ten books. He has also developed several computer software programs based on his research findings.

He is the Editor-in-Chief of Int. J. of Information Systems and Supply Chain Management and International Journal of Applied Management Science. Also, he is the Editor of Encyclopedia of Business Analytics and Optimization (five-volume), Data Warehousing and Mining: Concepts, Methodologies, Tools, and Applications (six-volume) and the Editor of the Encyclopedia of Data Warehousing and Mining, 1st (two-volume) and 2nd (four-volume). His long-term research goal is on the synergy of operations research, data mining and cybernetics.

Dr. Srikanta Patnaik is a Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, SOA University, Bhubaneswar, India. He has received his Ph. D. (Engineering) on Computational Intelligence from Jadavpur University, India in 1999 and supervised 12 Ph. D. theses and more than 30 M. Tech theses in the area of Machine Intelligence, Soft Computing Applications and Re-Engineering. Dr. Patnaik has published more than 60 research papers in international journals and conference proceedings. He is author of 2 text books and edited 12 books and few invited book chapters, published by leading international publisher like Springer-Verlag, Kluwer Academic, etc.. Dr. Patnaik was the Principal Investigator of TAPTEC project “Building Cognition for Intelligent Robot” sponsored by All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi and Major Research Project “Machine Learning and Perception using Cognition Methods” sponsored by University Grant Commission. He is the Editors-in-Chief of International Journal of Information and Communication Technology and International Journal of Computational Vision and Robotics published from Inderscience Publishing House, England and also Editors-in-chief of Book Series on “Modeling and Optimization in Science and Technology” published from Springer, Germany.

Dr. Leandros A. Maglaras

De Montfort University

Dr. Leandros A. Maglaras is an Associate Professor in the School of Computer Science and Informatics of De Montfort University, conducting research in the Cyber Security Centre. From September 2017 to November 2019, he was the Director of the National Cyber Security Authority of Greece. He obtained the B.Sc. (M.Sc. equivalent) in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece in 1998, M.Sc. in Industrial Production and Management from the University of Thessaly in 2004, and M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in Electrical Computer Engineering from University of Thessaly, in 2008 and 2014 respectively. In 2018 he was awarded a Ph.D. in Intrusion Detection in SCADA systems from the University of Huddersfield. He serves on the Editorial Board of several international peer-reviewed journals such as IEEE Access, Elsevier Array and Wiley Journal on Security Communication Networks. He is featured in Stanford University's list of the world Top 2% scientists for the year 2019. He is a Senior Member of the Institute of Electrical Electronics Engineers (IEEE) and is an author of more than 150 papers in scientific magazines and conferences.

He is a Visiting Professor at Duy Tan University, Vietnam, He was an honorary Visiting Scientist at Global Biomedical Technologies Inc., CA, USA (2012-2015). He was awarded his Ph.D. from Jadavpur University in 2015. He has authored/edited more than 55 books with Elsevier, Wiley, CRC Press, and Springer, and published more than 300 papers. He is the Editor-in-Chief of International Journal of Ambient Computing and Intelligence, IGI Global, Associate Editor of IEEE Access and International Journal of Information Technology, Springer. He is the Series Co-Editor of Springer Tracts in Nature-Inspired Computing, Springer Nature, Series Co-Editor of Advances in Ubiquitous Sensing Applications for Healthcare, Elsevier, Series Editor of Computational Intelligence in Engineering Problem Solving and Intelligent Signal processing and data analysis, CRC. His main research interests include Medical Imaging, Machine learning, Computer Aided Diagnosis, Data Mining etc. He is the Indian Ambassador of International Federation for Information Processing (IFIP) – Young ICT Group. Recently, he has been awarded as one among the top 10 most published academics in the field of Computer Science in India (2015-17).

Prof.Dr. Xilong Qu

Prof. Xilong Qu is the dean of School of Information Technology and Management, Hunan University of Finance and Economics, he is also the master degree student advisor for both Xiangtan University and Hunan Institute of Engineering. Prof. Xilong Qu received his Ph.D on Southwest Jiaotong University, he finished his post-doctor study in Post-doctoral Research Center of Computer Science and Technology, South China University of Technology. Prof. Xilong Qu is the young core teacher of Hunan and a member of “121” talents program of Hunan.

Prof.Xilong Qu joined 4 projects from the National High Technology Research and Development Program of China (863 Program) and the National Natural Science Foundation of China, also he led the National Natural Science Foundation of Hunan, the Research Foundation of Education Bureau of Hunan Province, China and the National Science Foundation for Post-doctoral Scientists of China for 3, 1 and 1 times respectively. Prof. Xilong Qu published 4 books 35 articles (5 articles are indexed by SCI and the rest are indexed by EI). Prof. Xilong Qu is also invited for chairs and keynote speakers of numerous conferences and forums in China.

Jian Wang is an Associate Professor of Computer Science and Master Degree Student Supervisor in Kunming University of Science and Technology. He received his B.S. degree in Computer Application from Kunming University of Science and Technology in 1999, M.S. degree in Computer Science from Tsinghua University in 2002.

Jian Wang is an experienced teacher and he has received a number of teaching competition awards and Exemplary Teacher Award. In the past six years, he has joined several projects funded by Natural Science Foundation of China, won 1 grant from Yunnan province natural science foundation, 1 grant from natural science foundation of education department of Yunnan province, and participated in many other basic research projects. He has published 20+ academic papers, 16 of which are indexed by EI and holds numerous patents and copyrights.

His research interest centers on software engineering and artificial intelligence. Specifically, he works on areas such as Software Process, esp. component-based software development and evolution, Intelligent computing machine learning.

Prof.Dr. Kevin Deng

Prof.Dr. Kevin Deng had worked for General Motors R D Center in USA as a senior researcher since 1996.

He was a three-time recipient of the “Charles McCuen” Award, the highest research award in General Motors, and a twice-recipient of the `Boss' Kettering Award, the most prestigious award in GM for technical invention and innovation. He briefly served as an acting director of Hong Kong Automotive Parts Accessories R D Center in 2010. Currently he serves as the Editor in Chief of International Journal of Vehicle Autonomous Systems and Associate Editor of International Journal of Vehicle Design, and was the associate editor of IEEE Transaction on Vehicular Technology . He was also the Chair of the Transportation Track of 2010-2016 IEEE Vehicular Technology Conferences respectively, and Technical Program Chair of FISITA on Chassis Systems and Integration Technology, etc.

He holds numerous patents and is the authors/co-authors of over 100 publications in international journals and conferences. He is also invited keynote speakers of numerous conferences and forums worldwide. His primary research interests are in electric and intelligent vehicles, dynamics and controls, and modeling and simulation technologies, etc.

Prof.Dr. Feng Qiao

Prof. Feng Qiao received his B.Eng. Degree in electrical engineering and M.S.E. Degree in systems engineering from the Northeastern University, Shenyang, China, in 1982 and 1987, respectively; and his PhD in intelligent modelling and control from the University of the West of England, Bristol, UK in 2005. During the period between 1987 and 2001, he worked at the Automation Research Institute of Metallurgical Industry, Beijing, China, as a senior engineer in electrical and computer engineering. He is currently a Professor at Faculty of Information and Control Engineering, Shenyang JianZhu University (SJZU), Shenyang, China. His research interests include modelling and simulation, fuzzy logic systems, neural networks, nonlinear systems, stochastic systems, sliding mode control, robust control, adaptive control, process control, structural vibration control, fault diagnosis and robotic manipulation. Currently Professor Qiao is acting as the Editor in Chief of the International Journal of Simulation and Process Modelling, a member of editorial board of the International Journal of Modelling, Identification and Control, and he serves on many international conferences as IPC and OPC members.
