Prof.Dr. Tao Shen

Kunming University of Science and Technology ,China

Professor Tao Shen is the dean of Kunming University of Science and Technology’s Graduate School. He received his Master and Ph.D. degree from Illinois Institute of Technology in USA and Bachelor’s degree from the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China. He has conducted and participated in over 20 research projects, including projects supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, Key Project of Applied Basic Research Programs of Yunnan Province. He has published more than 80 papers indexed by SCI/EI, 2 monographs and received 20 national patents. His main research fields including edge computing, artificial intelligent, 5G/6G and industrial internet.

Prof.Dr.John Wang

John Wang, Ph.D, works in the Department of Information Management and Business Analytics at Montclair State University, USA. Having received a scholarship award, he came to the USA and completed his PhD in operations research from Temple University. Due to his extraordinary contributions, Prof. Wang has been honored with two special range adjustments in 2006 and 2009 respectively. He has published over 100 refereed papers and more than ten books. He has also developed several computer software programs based on his research findings.

He is the Editor-in-Chief of Int. J. of Information Systems and Supply Chain Management and International Journal of Applied Management Science. Also, he is the Editor of Encyclopedia of Business Analytics and Optimization (five-volume), Data Warehousing and Mining: Concepts, Methodologies, Tools, and Applications (six-volume) and the Editor of the Encyclopedia of Data Warehousing and Mining, 1st (two-volume) and 2nd (four-volume). His long-term research goal is on the synergy of operations research, data mining and cybernetics.

Dr. Leandros A. Maglaras

De Montfort University

Dr. Leandros A. Maglaras is an Associate Professor in the School of Computer Science and Informatics of De Montfort University, conducting research in the Cyber Security Centre. From September 2017 to November 2019, he was the Director of the National Cyber Security Authority of Greece. He obtained the B.Sc. (M.Sc. equivalent) in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece in 1998, M.Sc. in Industrial Production and Management from the University of Thessaly in 2004, and M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in Electrical Computer Engineering from University of Thessaly, in 2008 and 2014 respectively. In 2018 he was awarded a Ph.D. in Intrusion Detection in SCADA systems from the University of Huddersfield. He serves on the Editorial Board of several international peer-reviewed journals such as IEEE Access, Elsevier Array and Wiley Journal on Security Communication Networks. He is featured in Stanford University's list of the world Top 2% scientists for the year 2019. He is a Senior Member of the Institute of Electrical Electronics Engineers (IEEE) and is an author of more than 150 papers in scientific magazines and conferences.

Associate Prof. Jian Wang

Jian Wang is an Associate Professor of Computer Science and Master Degree Student Supervisor in Kunming University of Science and Technology. He received his B.S. degree in Computer Application from Kunming University of Science and Technology in 1999, M.S. degree in Computer Science from Tsinghua University in 2002.

Jian Wang is an experienced teacher and he has received a number of teaching competition awards and Exemplary Teacher Award. In the past six years, he has joined several projects funded by Natural Science Foundation of China, won 1 grant from Yunnan province natural science foundation, 1 grant from natural science foundation of education department of Yunnan province, and participated in many other basic research projects. He has published 20+ academic papers, 16 of which are indexed by EI and holds numerous patents and copyrights.

His research interest centers on software engineering and artificial intelligence. Specifically, he works on areas such as Software Process, esp. component-based software development and evolution, Intelligent computing machine learning.

Dr. Mohammad Shidujaman

Independent University, Bangladesh

Dr. Mohammad Shidujaman currently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) School of Engineering, Technology and Science (SETS), Independent University, Bangladesh (IUB), Dhaka, Bangladesh. His research interests include Creativity and Innovation, Robotics and AI for Society, Human-Machine Interaction, AI Ethics and Policy, Social Robotics, Design Research, Cognitive Psychology, Cross-Cultural Design, User-Centered Design/Human-Centric Computing and Behavioral Analytics, Assistive Technology in Education, Healthcare and Entertainment, New Interaction Paradigm, Anthropomorphism, Wireless Power Transmission, Traveling Salesman Problem etc.

As a roboticist, He has no dought that Human-Robot Interaction going to transform the whole technological world very soon, His present research focuses on AI-Driven emotion-based Human-Machine Interaction (HMI) in a complex scenario. Devices with autonomous mobility (robots) can be used for various interesting applications in-home or office environments. His model based on human-robot interaction with emotional attachment is to carry out the novel artistic relation with such a new technology. The end goal is how we can create and develop HRI technologies in a more systematic and impactful way, such that the developed technologies will have an immediate impact and practical applications to solve daily imperative-demanding social problems.

He is actively serving IEEE Region 10 Humanitarian Technology Activities (IEEE R10 HTA) and IEEE Robotics and Automation Society Technical Committee on Cognitive Robotics (IEEE RAS TC CR) as a committee member. He is also serving various robotics and design-related journals and conferences as an editorial board member, organizing committee member, workshop organizer, and reviewer.

Besides academia, he has also experience working with the industry like Autonomous Vehicle Company iDriverplas as an R&D Engineer which specializes in technological innovation and product development in the field of intelligent vehicles, and with Discovery Communications ltd. as an IT Manager.          

Dr. Jaman is a member of IEEE, ACM, IEB, CIEHF.

Prof. Weiwen Deng
Beihang University, China

Prof Deng currently works at Beihang University as a professor, doctoral supervisor, and dean of the School of Transportation Science and Engineering. He is also member of the China-SAE and executive director of the CAAI. Since returning to China in 2010, he has successively served as the acting director of Automotive Parts and Accessory Systems R&D Centre, professor of the State Key Laboratory of Automotive Simulation and Control of Jilin University, and executive vice president of the Automotive Research Institute. Previously, he served as a long-term research director at the Global Research and Development Center of General Motors in the US. He has won the highest scientific research achievement award named "Charles McCuen" three times and the highest scientific and technological invention and creation award named "Boss Kettering" twice. Prof. Deng has long been engaged in academic research and technical application in the fields of automotive electrification and intelligence in the industrial and academic circles. He has over 60 domestic and foreign patents, including over 30 American patents, and has published over 150 papers in international journals, magazines, and academic conferences, including over 100 SCI/EI searches.
He has successively held the positions of editor in chief and deputy editor in chief of international journals including International Journal of Vehicle Autonomous Systems, International Journal of Vehicle Design, Journal of Vibration and Control, and IEEE Transactions on Vehicular Technology, as well as the positions of chairman of many international academic conferences and professional committees. Currently, he serves as the Executive Director of the Intelligent Driving Professional Committee of the CAAI, and the Vice Chairman of the Intelligent Vehicle and Robot Professional Committee of the CIS.
